mini comic project

Yet another exciting project brought to you by The Graphic Novel program here at the Maine College of Art.

Our next assignment is a series of three mini comics, each are six pages in length (eight if you include the cover and the back cover) and they must relate to one another in some way. The subject is an open-ended narrative, and must be black and white with minimal tones (for easier duplication).

EXCITE.

Other than the fact that I have absolutely no story in mind whatsoever... I have THIS done so far.

This is the mockup! Wooray! Each mini comic will be printed on 8.5x11 paper and folded in such a way that makes this awesome little booklet. The way I think I'm going to go about it is I'll do each of the pages on slightly larger paper in pencil then in ink (probably Microns and ballpoints because that's how I do) then I'll scan in each image, reduce and position them by this format in photoshop, then print out each booklet sheet and photocopy! EASY AS PIE.

Now I just have to write a 3-part story, do the scripting and storyboarding and figure out the size of my originals for optimal resizability! By Monday!

*ahem*

Last night I managed to fall asleep around 8-ish at night. What. The. Fuck.

I also woke up at around 8-ish am on my own accord. What. The. Fuck.

I went to breakfast, had a weird omelet, coffee cake and whole milk from a shallow cup.. then found myself in the student center making mockup files for my graphic novel assignment.

Tonight I have to study for my Diverse Cultures midterm tomorrow morning...

I FEEL LIKE I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS.

Because I did.

Only it was about ART History. Rather than just history-history. T  - T I thought it was overrrr...
I also have no clue what the hell we've been doing these past seven-ish weeks. 8D;

So that's what I'm up to. Work at noon. Lots of data-entry funtimes.
Woorah.
